Pregabalin oral capsule in different doses containing: pregabalin 50mg, 75 mg ,100 mg and 150mg is used to help control some types of seizures in the treatment of epilepsy. It is also used for pain caused by nerve damage associated with diabetes and is used to manage post herpetic neuralgia
How to take Pregabalin
The dose of this medicine will be different for different patients. Follow your doctor’s orders or directions on the label.
• For diabetic nerve pain:
Adults: 150 milligrams per day, divided (50 mg three times a day)
Children: Dose must be determined by the doctor.
• For epilepsy:
Adults: 150 to 600 milligrams per day, the total daily dose should be divided two or three times a day.
Children: Dose must be determined by the doctor.
• For postherpetic neuralgia:
Adults: 150 to 600 milligrams per day, the total daily dose should be divided two or three times a day
Children: Dose must be determined by the doctor.
Missed dose: If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double doses.
* Pregabalin may be taken with or without food or on a full or empty stomach.

Pregabalin oral capsules manufactured by Karen pharmaceutical company are available in different doses of 50 mg, 75 mg,100 mg and 150 mg.
