Features
Each tablet contains 300 mg thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1).
How to use :
The dose of this medicine will be different for different patients, and always the doctor tells how to use the medicine. Follow your physician’s order either for prevention of deficiency or treatment.
For management of overdose transfer the patient to the hospital to prevent hypersensitivity and anaphylactic shock. Doses
of 500 mg/day for a month were administered without toxic effects.
Missed dose:
Taking as soon as possible; not taking if almost time for next scheduled dose; not doubling doses.
Side effects :
Every medicine by the side of therapeutic effects may cause some adverse effects, although not everybody gets them, check with your physician if any of the following side effects occur:
Feeling of warmth; pruritus; urticaria; weakness; sweating; nausea; edema; cyanosis; Gastrointestinal tract bleeding; hypersensitivity; anaphylactic shock.
